HEAD COACH JACK PARKER
Jack Parker, who enters his second season
as Head Coach at BK, has been in the
Knights program since 1994. He joined
the BK staff as offensive and defensive
line coach following 20 years coaching
football in the Boise School District.
Parker was defensive coordinator for the
Boise Braves prior to joining the
Knights. He has had a hand in four
State Championships and coached 29
players who have gained all-state
honors.
Parker is a graduate of Brigham Young
University and earned teaching
certifications in History, Health,
Social Studies and Driver Education. He
spent his career as an educator and
coach in the Boise School District,
beginning in 1974 at East Junior High.
He joined the faculty at Boise High
School in 1980 as a history and
sociology teacher while coaching track
and football. He has been active as a
guest speaker and served on the
district's U.S. History curriculum
committee. Among the many honors he has
received, Parker was recognized with the
prestigious "Ray Dilulo Award" while at
Boise High, and recently as the Idaho
Coaches Association 'Distinguished
Football Coach of the Year. Parker, who retired from
the Boise School District in 2005, was
selected as the Knight's tenth head
coach in school history following a
nationwide search during the winter of
2007.

ATHLETIC DIRECTOR DEAN SATTERFIELD
Dean Satterfield was named Athletic
Director at Bishop Kelly in 1991, a
position he has held for the past 18
years. He also served the school as
dean of students and PE instructor at
various times. As AD, Satterfield
handles scheduling, eligibility,
budgets, purchases, transportation,
supervision, field prep, game management
and evaluation of coaches. In addition
to the 60 state championships won since
19990, the athletic department has
consistently upgraded facilities and
increased participation. Satterfield
was recognized as the Idaho Athletic
Director of the Year in 1995 and 2002.
He was named District III Athletic
Director of the Year in 1995, 1997,
2001, 2003, and 2005. A native Idahoan,
Satterfield graduated from Idaho State
University. He was head baseball coach
at Burley High for ten years, where he
also assisted in football and basketball
before being named AD for the Bobcats
before coming to Bishop Kelly.
